The Art of Choice
A Regency Romance
Duty and love are at odds.
1815, England.
Debutante and heiress Cecilia Leigh is twenty-one years old, and spending the last days at home by the ocean before braving the London season. In love with a childhood friend, the empoverished painter Elijah, she is struggling not to succumb to her family's expectations that she marries Albion, a dandy and wealthy landowner from Norfolk.

As she participates in the London social life, attending balls and garden parties, Cecilia must strive to find her own voice, in a world that often won't allow it. As her journey advances, there will be references to historical occurrences and details of the time, country dances and waltzes (which were just being introduced in England), muslin dresses, a painter's study, and much more.
Inevitable choices must be made, in a silent war of love against convention. Cecilia's unsettled destiny is divided between a hopeless match and a thriving romance.
